Oakland County Football Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Darryl Evans and Derek Peters as the club’s coaching staff for the 2018 season!

Both Darryl and Derek have exemplified great professionalism throughout this whole process. They bring a great deal of experience to the table and we see them as a perfect fit with the culture of the club. Our players will respond well to them. – Theo Foutris, Co-Owner

Head Coach: Darryl Evans

A collegiate product of Macomb Community College and Georgia State University, Evans holds a National “D” Coaching License and currently coaches several youth teams with the Michigan Revolution. He also gained coaching experience while in Germany once he completed his playing stint with Tennis Borussia Berlin and FC International Berlin.

I really enjoy what this club embodies. Their excitement and passion they’ve shown me is a great indication of what’s to come during my stay with the club. I’m ready to meet the players and get to work. – Darryl Evans

Assistant Coach: Derek Peters

A local product from De La Salle Collegiate, Peters most recently completed a coaching stay with Mercy High School (Farmington Hills). Peters returns to the coaching scene as a proponent to organization, tactical strategy and making safe decisions on the field. He currently lives with his wife and two kids in Ferndale, MI.

I’ve been really impressed with my interactions thus far with management and Coach Evans. Getting back into the coaching scene has been a goal of mine for quite some time. I am grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started.” – Derek Peters

Roster announcements will be made in the coming weeks as we gear up for preseason training. The 2018 season begins on Saturday, May 12 at 7 PM EST as OCFC welcomes Indiana Old Bhoys to the new home grounds of Clawson Stadium (935 N Custer Avenue, Clawson).
