2021 Internship Opportunities with OCFC
Looking to gain quality experience working in the Sports Marketing, Operations, Communications, or Business and Management field? Know someone who is? Oakland County Football Club is currently accepting internship applications for the 2021 season!
Ideal candidates will be ready to begin as early as February and provide support throughout the 2021 season (end of July).
Internship opportunities are designed for an individual seeking future work experience related to all facets of club operation.
Internships are eligible to provide credits for college courses/fulfillment. All candidates must be available to work 6-8 hours on match days in addition to 2-3 hours on non-match days per week.
OCFC Intern Key Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for assisting in numerous aspects of Oakland County FC operation, ranging from game day roles to off-season marketing initiatives. These key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attend designated community events to promote awareness of the Oakland County FC brand in the Oakland County area
Support in game day media relations tasks such as credentialing, check-in, statistics distribution and online coverage
Assist in match-day box office operations including ticket fulfillment, customer service, setup and breakdown, and sales
Organize game day stats and information for distribution to media, visiting team personnel, etc
Collaborate with the Sponsorship department in activating contract deliverables, evaluating proof of performance, and researching new sponsorship opportunities (commission opportunity available!)
Available to assist at most OCFC home games and community events (full schedule to be shared at orientation)
Be open to take on new assignments and deliver a product with minimal supervision
