OCFC vs Kalamazoo FC

Final Curtain Call: OCFC Hosts Last Match of the Season This Saturday

Composed by Dan Kimura
(July 10, 2025) — This Saturday night, July 12, Oakland County FC returns to Royal Oak High School Stadium for one last match against Kalamazoo FC – and your final chance to see the boys in purple in action this year.
After a pair of strong wins over Lansing City and Kalamazoo FC, Oakland County is looking to close the season on a high note, with the squad entering this last match with energy, momentum, and pride. But this game is much more than just a send-off: It is a shot at making club history – Winning would secure OCFC’s best regular season record in USL2, making a major milestone in what has already been a season filled with progress.
While the 2025 season wraps up on Saturday, the spirit of County lives on beyond the final whistle.
On Sunday, July 13, OCFC will host the Tim Pontzer Memorial Cup, a beloved annual tradition that pits the club’s supporters against staff in a friendly match. The event was started by the late Superfan Tim Pontzer. It is an excellent and fun way to complete the season and honor his memory through the true essence of the beautiful game.
Supporters can still sign up to play in the match. Don’t miss your chance to lace up your boots and take the field! To register, follow the link below:

Whether you are playing or cheering from the sidelines, it is a day filled with the community spirit that makes this club special.

One more match. One more memory. Be there. Be purple.
