Head Coach Vinnie Vasilevski enters his second season with Oakland County FC after recent stops as assistant coach at both Northwood University and University of Michigan-Dearborn; Vasilevski also serves as the current Romeo High School varsity head coach.
Prior to entering the coaching realm, Vasilevski played collegiately at Tiffin University (‘06 & ‘07), Saginaw Valley State (‘08), and Northwood (’11) with a one and a half year professional stint in Sweden with IFK Trelleborg (’09-’10).
The passionate Borce Kosteski returns to the Oakland County FC sideline in his second year as an Assistant Coach. In addition to Oakland, Borce coaches at Romeo High School with fellow coaches Vinnie Vasilevski and Igor Blazevski. He possesses a USSF National “D” License and a NSCAA Coaching Academy National Diploma.
Prior to coaching, coach Kosteski had playing stops in Macedonia with F.K. Vardar (U15-U19 Youth) and FC Rabotniki (professional). His last stop before taking on coaching duties was with the Pontiac Wheelers of the United States Interregional Soccer League (USISL).
Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach
Trevor Foster returns to Oakland County FC for his second year in purple. In addition to his assistant duties, coach Foster is responsible for the club’s goalkeepers. He possesses his NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 License as well as a USSF National “D” License.
Apart from his new OCFC duties, Trevor coaches at Romeo High School (Varsity Girls Head Coach) and Stevenson High School (Varsity Boys Head Coach) where he has secured district and league titles between them both. He also is a coach at Nationals Soccer Club and runs/assists goalkeeper private training and camps across southeast Michigan.
Igor Blazevski returns to Oakland County FC for his second year as an Assistant Coach of the club. In addition to Oakland, Igor coaches with Nationals Soccer Club and at Romeo High School. He possesses both a USSF National “D” License and a National Youth License.
Prior to coaching, coach Blazevski had professional playing stops in Macedonia with FC Teteks, FC Ljuboten, FC Balkan, and competed for the U-16 Macedonian National Team.
Arriving at OCFC as a first time Assistant Coach, Kirk is a local staple to the soccer scene with 14 years of coaching experience. He’s earned a USSF National ‘D’ license, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 2 license, and is currently in the process of earning the USC Advanced National Diploma.
Outside of the club, Kirk is coaching youth with Clawson Strikers Soccer Club, high school boys with Detroit Country Day, and high school girls with Waterford Mott. Prior to coaching, Kirk played at Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY) and Traverse City Central High School
Video & Performance Analyst
Tim Ho joins Oakland County FC as a first-time assistant coach of the club. In addition to his assistant duties, Tim will be responsible for video analysis. Currently, Tim coaches with Eastside Soccer Club and Lawrence Tech University in the Fall. He posssesses an AFC ‘C’ coaching license.
Originally from Singapore, Tim moved to the United States in 2017. Since moving, he has coached at all levels: youth, high school and college.
Tim began his coahcing career at 22 years old with local youth clubs before spending three years with a professional U23 team in Singapore as an assistant and video performance analyst. He spect two years in Califorina and one year in Boston as director of college recruitment.
Staff Assistant/Equipment Manager
A 2022 graduate of Central Michigan University, Trent comes to us with a year of OCFC experience under his belt as an Operations Intern in 2022. Stemming from his passion in management, he’s eager to help the staff in any manner.
When he’s not out there assisting the staff, Trent loves watching and playing soccer and supports Chelsea FC and the USMNT.
Club Athletic Trainer
Joshua Priehs is also the head athletic trainer at Lamphere High School and coordinates coverage of athletic trainers in the state for various events. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor in Science (Athletic Training) and received his Masters shortly after from Wayne State University in Sports Administration.
Josh has been an athletic trainer now for 14 years. Licensed in the state of Michigan and a member of the National Athletic trainers Association, “working with OCFC the last few years (I’ve been there from the start), has been amazing. I enjoy watching the experience grow every year!”
2022 Operations Staff
Digital Media Manager
Grace first joined OCFC as an intern in 2021 and is returning to lead the media team for the 2022 season. She will be graduating from Bowling Green State University in April 2022 with a degree in Visual Communication Technology.
As Communications Dir., Kerr provides club communications and administrative services, community outreach, and Play-by-Play commentary. Since joining the club in 2018 as our staff writer, Kerr has become an ardent County supporter and has passionately taken on a number of media responsibilities.
Kerr has been covering American soccer since 2014, is the current host of the Michigan Soccer Central Podcast, and enjoys coaching youth soccer.
Club Reporter & Broadcast Color Commentator
Mitch Gatzke fell in love with soccer after graduating college in 2015. Despite playing a bit in high school, he didn’t truly catch the fever until he began working for local clubs. Mitch says the way the game brings people together and builds community is what attracted him most.
Now the self-proclaimed “local soccer booster” can be found somewhere pitchside nearly every weekend throughout the summer months. You can strike up a conversation with Mitch about any team in any sport. Guaranteed he has at least a little something to say. Other interests include just about any kind of music, just about any kind of food, and absolutely every kind of dog.
Raised in the Metro-Detroit, Jarod is a filmmaker specializing in narrative, documentary, and live-streaming video production. He has recently graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors in Film & Business Administration.
Jarod has been serving clients since 2016 and is now working with My Michigan TV as the Programming Producer.
A Flushing, MI native, Talal arrives to the club with 17+ years of scouting and management experience as the Founder and Director of FOB Soccer, a non-profit soccer organization located in Flint.
